I Think Trust Is Becoming the New Growth Strategy

Hi all 👋
I think there's a pretty significant shift happening in how businesses grow right now. And from what I've been seeing, it comes down to one thing: trust.
What's Happening in AI
I was reading this week about how visibility inside LLMs (like ChatGPT or Claude) is quickly becoming just as important as traditional SEO.
If you look at the last few years, a lot of growth strategies have become centred around automating outreach. We dehumanized sales. We blasted more emails, sent more LinkedIn messages, and scaled the noise.
Now, we are watching that backfire. Buyers are inundated, and the effectiveness of that automated volume is crashing.
LLMs are changing the rules again. But this time, you can't just game the keywords on your own website. When an LLM answers a user's question, it's pulling from places where real conversations happen, like Reddit or third-party forums. It looks for where actual people are reviewing products and sharing experiences.
Visibility is becoming less about how well you optimize your own website and more about whether people are talking about you elsewhere.
The companies that earn attention moving forward won't be the ones shouting the loudest through automated channels. They'll be the ones who earn trust first.
I actually think the same idea shows up operationally as well. You can't just scale for volume; you have to scale the systems that protect your brand's trust.
This Week's Case Study
We recently worked with a food producer running a high-volume loose-leaf production line. They had hit a wall: manual quality control simply couldn't keep up with the scale of the operation.
In food manufacturing, a single foreign object slipping through triggers a multimillion-dollar product recall and destroys the market trust you’ve spent years building.
Instead of trying to out-hire the problem, we mapped the production flow and deployed an AI-powered defect detection system. It processes the visual feed in real time and automatically stops the line the second an anomaly is spotted.
This detection system represents an average of $10M+ in recall avoidance value.
Read the operational breakdown here.
A Useful Resource
One question I get quite often is: "How do I know if a process is actually worth automating?"
That's why we built the Administrative Tax Calculator. This is a simple way to estimate how much of a premium salary could be absorbed by repetitive administrative work.
That's it for this week.
