The AI Conversation Is Changing... Finally!

Hi all 👋
Hope your week’s off to a good start.
I spent a few days at the Offshore Technology Conference last week. AI came up in almost every conversation.
A lot of organizations are trying to figure out AI's fit in their business, where it creates real operational value.
That means rethinking workflows, simplifying operations and looking at problems with a different lens.
For real value, you don't want to just layer more technology on top of processes.
What’s Happening in AI
One thing that caught my attention this week was the recent growth figures from Anthropic. They reportedly went from roughly $9B to more than $30B in annualized revenue in a single quarter.
To me, it feels like companies are finally moving past AI experimentation and actually paying for tools that create operational value.
Now the bigger question becomes: how do organizations actually integrate these tools into workflows and create real leverage from them operationally?
I shared a few more thoughts on this topic in a recent LinkedIn post.
This Week's Case Study
One operational redesign reduced reporting effort by almost 80% for a large infrastructure client. And interestingly enough, we didn’t even need AI to do it.
The interesting part is that the original conversation started around AI, as it usually does right now.
But once we started digging into the workflow, it became pretty obvious the real issue was the process itself. The reporting workflow was fragmented, overly manual, and created unnecessary operational friction.
So we focused on simplifying the workflow first and building a system that made the process easier and more efficient for the team actually using it day to day.
You can check out the full case study breakdown on LinkedIn.
That's it for this week.
